I wonder of anyone finds the opening paragraph of this story off-putting. When I wrote it, I didn't even think about it, but it is a disturbing subject. It's not however out of line with the genre, or stuff I have read by authors I admire. I just wondered if readers find the subject of miscarriage a barrier to wanting to finish the story?
Thanks,
Arlene
